You and Carryl MUST come up and visit home-grown country - so sorry we've been flat out settling into new house/new job and making a big fat baby to invite you....but we will defo line it up soon. I am going to try to come to Ali's, and I noticed you were on the list so hopefully I can get a crane to lift me off the couch and into the car and I will see you there.
Anyway, I realise this is the wrong forum to catch up, but I am kind of on task as when you come up to Woodend, "the Northcote of the North" lol, you can really immerse yourself in biodynamic/organic/slow food...you name it. I object to the ridiculous cost and the impracticality for large families to be organic. But broccoli and leafies are really much better organic/home grown and it is money well spent. We'll have to take you guys to the Lancefield Farmer's Market, it is fantastic and not at all pretentious. They also sell fox traps there which I like to look and laugh at cos we have two foxes with names (Mangey and Fantastic) who live in our hedge.
I loved reading your blog, so very funny, you should get it published in a magazine.
And, I do like pink eyes better than any other potato, that's exactly what I want to do with our land, grow pink eyes for ex-pats.Sarah Cottonnoreply@blogger.com
